Scheduled Maintenance for the .MU Registry
We have been informed about upcoming maintenance that will be performed by the .MU Registry. Please note that this maintenance is being carried out by the registry itself and not by us. During this time, only .MU domain services will be impacted, and all other TLDs will remain unaffected.
Maintenance Schedule
- Start Time: 25 February 2025, 14:00 Mauritius Time (10:00 UTC)
- End Time: 25 February 2025, 23:30 Mauritius Time (19:30 UTC)
During this period, the .MU Registry platform will be taken offline. Any orders for new registrations placed during the above time frame will be processed once the .MU Registry is back online.
DNS resolution for .MU domains will not be affected, and domain names will continue to resolve normally. However, domain registrations and other transactions will not be available during the maintenance window.
If you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact our support team.

At 19:04, we received alerts indicating a network outage with one of our our upstream providers. This incident intermittently impacted international connectivity to our Mauritius (MU) datacenter facility until ~21:30. While all services remained operational, their accessibility was hindered due to the network issues. Local connectivity within Mauritius was also briefly affected, though it largely remained stable.
We are currently collaborating with our transit provider to implement a more robust solution with additional failover protection.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.

Inaccessible Network Outage
A dual fiber break has caused a network outage to our services. Please see the below notice as received from our upstream:
Fault:
Degradation was observed in one of our core fiber links on our DWDM ring in the region of Baie Du Cap. We already had an ongoing fault on the DWDM ring in the region of Plaine Lauzun which had no impact on our service earlier. However, due to the new fault on the ring today, our IPLC services are at risk. Our field team has been dispatched onsite to troubleshoot the fault.
Update: Following the onsite OTDR test, we identified the degraded fiber segment caused by local water supplier CWA during excavation works.
@ 29/12/2022 02:50 GMT+4
Update: Traffic has been re-routed to alternative paths and has stabilized.
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.
We have been informed by our data center network operations team that they have identified a "distribution switch fault " at their facility.
They have therefore issued an emergency maintenance window as follows:
Today, Saturday 21 May 2022 from 22:00 till 23:00 GMT+4 to resolve the issue.
This will cause a brief network outage resulting in unreachable services to our Ebène data center location.
Updates will follow here once completed.
Credit Card Payments
Our credit card processor, DPO Group, is currently experiencing an issue with credit card payments.
We are awaiting their fix and updates.
Please use Bank Transfer/Juice for any payments.
Please note that our international transit provider will be performing emergency maintenance as follows.
The window will last for 1 hour.
Start: Wednesday 6th April 2022 @ 01:00AM GMT+4
End: Wednesday 6th April 2022 @ 02:00AM GMT+4
Intermittent connectivity is expected on all in/out international traffic.
No action is required from you as our customer.
